Our #1 Side Hustle Recommendation

Our #1 side hustle

I'm always interested in hearing the reasons why people start side hustles.

Yesterday I was talking to a buddy of mine who has created a successful Facebook ads agency and just quit his job. I asked him why he started his side hustle in the first place and I loved his answer.

He said, “I wanted to give myself a raise and nobody at my day job was going to do that for me. So I started a side hustle.”

He actually went through many different side hustles before he finally discovered Facebook ads and started managing ad campaigns for local businesses. Now he's quitting his job to work on his business full time and he’s getting ready to hire his first employee. it's pretty incredible.

I've heard a lot of different reasons that people have for starting a side hustle, everything from paying off student loans to saving for retirement to have extra spending money to travel the world.

I really love this concept of giving yourself a pay raise though.

A lot of people are like my friend, they know they want to start a side hustle but they don't know what they should do. They might even try out a bunch of different things until they finally land on something that works for them.

But when I look around at all the different things you can do to make money on the internet one thing stands out above the rest.

Running Facebook ad campaigns for local businesses.

This is one of the most in-demand, easy to do side hustles, and it's the number one side hustle that I recommend to people who are looking to make a little extra money on the side from home.

Here are the top five reasons that the Facebook side hustle is the number one way to make extra money right now:

1. Facebook ads are in high demand (and will continue to be for years)

Facebook ad management is one of the most in-demand services on the planet right now. Especially for local businesses who want to get more customers through the door.

And local businesses are always looking to get more people through the door.

Local businesses are always looking to make more sales and get more people in the door. They've also probably tried all of the traditional marketing platforms from billboards to print ads. The most common thing that you'll hear is that they spend a lot of money for not a lot of results.

Enter Facebook ads.

Facebook ads are effective and affordable.

Everyone from the kid down the street to your grandma has a Facebook profile. We scroll through our Newsfeeds and see ads for everything from the local restaurant to that pair of shoes that you were looking at on Amazon.

We've all clicked on an ad, we see them every day, and have probably bought something from an ad too.

Local business owners see these ads and they think to themselves, “I wonder if that would work for me?” Or they know other local business owners that have used Facebook ads and gotten great results, and they want that for themselves.

The idea of being able to affordably advertise their products or services is irresistible for business owners. But most business owners don't have the time or the knowledge of how to use Facebook ads to get results.

They just know that it's effective and that they want it for their business. More than anything, they want someone to do it for them so that way they can focus on what they do best.

That's where you come in.

2. There isn't a steep learning curve.

Can I actually do this? What if I'm not very tech-savvy?

Most people's biggest fear about starting this side hustle is that they're not going to be able to do it.

They've seen the ads in their Newsfeed, but they automatically assume that it's going to be incredibly difficult to create a Facebook ad themselves. Or maybe they're not very good with technology and they feel like this side hustle is only for the younger generation who already know how to use Facebook.

The truth is that if you can post on your Facebook profile then you have all the skills necessary to create a Facebook ad.

A Facebook ad is just like a post – you choose an image or video, you write some text, and maybe you add a button and then it's done. There are some other steps like choosing what kind of campaign to use and choosing who to target with the ad, but it's much easier than you think.

In fact, the ads manager platform has a simple guided three-step process. You just make choices based on Facebook's prompting, and at the end, you have a beautiful ad ready to publish.

3. This side hustle works

Raise your hand if you've been scrolling through Facebook and you've seen somebody that you went to high school with trying to sell some “miraculous” weight loss or beauty products.

It's almost gotten to the point that when somebody you knew back in the day and haven't talked to in a few years sends you a friend request on Facebook, you know they're going to pitch you something the minute you click “Accept”.

The Facebook Side Hustle is NOT like that.

It's a real business providing a useful service that local brick-and-mortar businesses need.

And unlike those diet pills and wrinkle creams, the service you provide actually works. The service you provide helps local businesses make more money, and people always love other people that help them make more money.

Let me give you an example of how this works…

Imagine that you go to your local gym, and after your workout, you talk to the owner about using Facebook ads to help him get more members.

Now imagine the gym owner loves the idea and you start running an ad promoting their popular 30-day fitness challenge. You're spending $10 per day on the ad to get people to enter their name, email, and phone number showing their interest in joining the challenge. The ad is going well and you're getting 5 applicants per day.

Let's assume that for every 10 applicants the gym is closing one sale, and each sale earns the gym $200. At that rate, the gym is making a sale every 2 days, and they're only spending $20 to make that $200 sale.

Those are pretty typical results. In fact, many businesses are going to see it even better return on investment.

Which is why…

4. You can charge serious money for the service

Local business owners pay $1,000 per month or more to have somebody manage their Facebook ads for them. It's a high-paying gig.

When you're providing a service that business owners don't have time to do themselves or don't want to do, and you're making them money by doing it, you can charge a pretty decent chunk of change. Business owners will happily pay you.

The fact that you can make $1,000 or more per month from a single client is one of the biggest reasons that this is our number one recommended side hustle.

You have a day job. You have a family. You have all sorts of things going on in your life that fill up your calendar. You don't need a side hustle that feels like another full-time job.

You want a side hustle that allows you to make a couple extra grand per month, while only working a few extra hours per week.

A side hustle that helps you pay down debt, save for retirement, or travel the world, that can be done in your spare time.

That's exactly what you get with the Facebook Side Hustle.

But it's also a side hustle that has the potential to fully replace your income. Which leads me to my last point…

5. It's a scalable as you want it to be

One of the things that I love about this side hustle is that it can be as big or small as you want it to be.

If all you want to do is make a couple thousand dollars extra per month in your spare time, that's totally cool. But if you want to turn it into a full-time job or even build it into an agency with a team of people working for you like I've done, you can do that too.

Managing Facebook ads takes so little time and pays so well, there really is no limit to how far you could build this business. You can make it as big or as small as you want, to fit the lifestyle that you want to live.

In fact, since we launched the Facebook Side Hustle course five months ago we've seen the full spectrum.

We have members with full-time jobs that are just trying to make an extra $1000-$2,000 per month in their spare time.

We have stay-at-home parents who are trying to make a little extra income while they take care of their little ones.

We have members who already have five plus clients and are working to replace their income so they can leave their jobs.

We even have one member who's already quit her job because she's doing so well.

It all comes down to how far do you want to take the side hustle and what kind of lifestyle you want to live.

Do you want to make some extra money on the side?

Do you want to replace your income and leave your job?

Do you have dreams of building a big business with a team of people working for you?

All of these things are possible, but they all require one thing…

That you get started.

Just found you guys today and am glad I did. I have been reading some of the articles and listening to some of the podcasts and am enjoying it all. I have been looking for a side gig for sometime but haven’t committed to one yet. I am very interested in this but of course have zero experience. My question is when is the next training? 🙂
