Taking time off from your business is ultra important for yourself and the people around you- no matter how busy your schedule gets. Sometimes, even if the momentum is high and you feel the need to just keep it rolling, there comes a time when you need to pause for a while, take a break, and enjoy important things in life other than thinking how to grow your business.
If you are a solopreneur, this could be very difficult because you don’t have a person or a team you can entrust your business with. But if you have a solid system in place and a team to handle important things while you are away, life would be much easier and taking time off wouldn’t be much of a problem.
On today’s episode, we’ll discuss the important things you need and the systems you can utilize for your business to help you keep up when planning for a vacation. Also, allow us to share to you how we recently managed to totally unplug from our business and enjoy our time with our loved ones without having to worry about losing momentum or dealing with clients.
“Momentum is important. It’s the same thing like if you’re an entrepreneur and you’re rolling, and then you go on vacation, [and you’re solopreneur it’s just you] and the momentum stops, then you have to get rolling again when you get back. It’s hard to get back into it. And the way that it’s hard to get back into it is maybe you’re working and you have a schedule or whatever and then you unplug… If you have the team, they keep the momentum rolling. If you don’t have the team, you need to keep the momentum rolling, even if it’s something small like keeping your inbox at zero or fighting small fires or just keeping tabs on things like that’s going to keep your life easier when you transition back.” – Mike Yanda
